Tools, Internet Properties, Clear Cookies, Delete Files, Delete HIstory.
If it's stuff on a site like Yahoo.com , just click into the search bar and you should be able to actually push delete when the drop down menu comes up with the previous searches.

Its as easy as 1-2-3, try this..
1 - go to tools
2 - select internet options
3 - in general tab - under history CLICK CLEAR HISTORY
Or.. try this one (After deleting the history)
1- go to Tools ---> then Internet Options
2- go to Content ---> in personal information click autocomplete
3- click clear forms and passwords
that should delete all your search queries as well

If you're using Internet Explorer and it's on your desktop:
Right Click on the icon, and click 'Properties'. The first tab on that window will be 'General'. In the middle of that, there will be a box labeled "Temporary Internet files". There will be three buttons, click the one marked "Delete Files..."
That will empty the cache.

go to history and click, it will show up on the left side of your screen. then point and click on the right side of your mouse, a box will show up, then scan down to delete. It will delete everything in your history that your computer went to on that day and any other day for that matter.
