Work on your short game from 100 yards and in. Practice your chipping from around the greens, and work on your putting. For most amateurs, more than half of your shots will be from either on or around the green. Improve your short game and you'll cut a bunch of strokes from your score.

First... Get real ****** up, Second go out in a yard, any yard with a variety of targets, try to limit number of windows, and improve the short game by working the pitching wedge like it owes you money... and finally get some friends to go to the golf course and wager them approxamately a buck a hole... works everytime
