I rennovated a home I got for next to nothing and rented it for 2 years to cover my expense and made nice profit when I sold it. You really have to shop around and be smart about things but the opportunity is there and there is a lot of interest in this now especially with all the Flipping shows on tv now.

My most profitable business venture was towing and reposession. It was interesting, fun, there was alot od adrenalin going on the repo jobs and the pay was good. Hey, $500.00 a car for a repo is real good money, get 8 a night and do the math.... I had it made. I had my clasic car, part owner/crew chief of a local race team, nice home, didn't starve and had money in the bank. The down side was I was on duty 24/7 every day.

Selling candy out my house, when I was 12. Cause the kids next door(about 15 in one damn house) treated candy like crack.
