I am totally stoked about the 4th! I just found out that my husband has never lived in a state where you can have fireworks! He's from Alaska, and the only ones who can legally shoot them are professionals...they do it on a barge or whatever so that nothing burns. I guess that makes sense, but hey, I'm from the south. We like pretty exploding things. We just bring a bucket of water along with us (just in case). Lol. To quote the hilarious Ron White, we're more like..."No, Johnny, no!...Would you look at that?"

Big family barbecue. about 30 people...and my mother-in-law wants me and my husband to do the cooking because we are the best cooks in the family. It will be busy. We have to start on the 3rd.

I'm Canadian, so I'm working. But then again, I worked yesterday, as well, which was our holiday.
