Some people have suggested that it may now be burried under the ice in the antarctic. The proof they cite for this is a 15th century map found to contain the antarctic coastline drawn without ice. Recent seismic surveys have found it to be an accurate rendition.

There are other similar maps also depicting the same coastline, and the original of the 15th century map is not found.

Assuming it existed in the first place, I'd say what's left is Cuba. The bulk of it sunk under the gulf, but the mountains still stuck up above the water. Cuba is what used to be the mountains of Atlantis.

I think Atlantis refer to the American continents. Probably a Mayan City.

Well they're are many theries to where the lost city is! Right now many archeologist belive that it's located either in the bahama's Bimini Island, somewhere close to Cypris and there are many therios that it's in Antartica. They're is another therioy that when the civilization was falling by Plato's people, it uh, flew into space! In my opinion I think it's in Antartica because, about 5,000-10,000 years ago Antartica wasn't a huge cold ice land , but a tropical paradise, for they believe that Antartica was closer to the equator at that time.

Probably in the waters of Greece. It may have been destroyed around the time Greeks went from Greece to Crete and called it Egypt. Also because just about all Greek names end in an S.
