Yeah, there is a prequel in the works called Young Hannibal (title is self-explanatory) that as of now is scheduled for a Feb07 release I believe.

there have been rumors of a movie going into why Hannibal became the cannibal. but as of my last check No there were no plans to produce it.

well they did a prequel with Man Hunter and the remake Red Dragon. But i have heard it said they are planning a new movie.

there were only the three books so i am gonna say there should only be the three movies..the books are way better than the movies...they are written by a guy named thomas harris
