if you are using a laptop because your fingers touch the mousepad inadvertantly. the mousepad might be too sentitive. best thing is to turn down the sensitivity of your mousepad.
if it is a desktop, it could be motion of your mouse.

I agree that you are inadvertently hitting the trackpad when typing. On some computer operating systems, there may be an option to 'ignore' the trackpad when typing (as in Mac OS X).

clean if ball type remove and get lint out. If optical clean bottom. Also is your surface shinny if so move the mouse or get a pad

your mouse is probably broken cal, the company of your computer and tell them its broken then, they will send u a new one for free(that happend to me once)
