I believe it has proved to be one of America's greatest success stories and should be fixed! What about you?

I think it should be saved, because we don't have anything to replace it yet. I remember there was a problem with it's mirror when it was first in orbit. But once that was fixed, the amazing images started coming through. It's brought so many more amazing images since, so I agree with your opinion of it.

I found this one site about Hubble (Save Hubble)...I hope the link is still correct.

precisely how could that end any hoax? Hoax tehorists do no longer care one iota approximately info, they care approximately confirming and reconfirming elementary wisdom. they have no creativity or capacity to do something useful so the only way they are in a place to experience reliable approximately themselves is to purpose to forged doubt on human beings's achievements. If between the important scientific missions of the Hubble telescope have been to be cancelled to fulfill the whims of human beings with doubtful scientific credentials (assuming the attitude replaced into good to get a suitable recognisable photograph and the call of the telescope replaced into sufficiently specific) each and all of the hoax theorists will say is that the photos have been doctored. Hoax theorists and conspiracy theorists thrive on and make the main of lack of know-how and have no interest in listening to solutions to their questions basically getting interest for themselves. apart from photos of the moon touchdown have been taken via orbiting satellites and that hasn't stopped the hoax theorists. Any attempt to handle their concerns in basic terms supplies them undeserved credibility. it may be greater inexpensive and greater easy for each guy or woman if those human beings basically have been given some first rate skills. Universities and area agencies international extensive have actual technology to be doing and should no longer waste money and time indulging those human beings.

It would be a shame to lose it but it's simply not economically viable to save it. I understand that they are building another far superior to the Hubble so I suppose in that respect it's obsolete anyway. It has done it's job well though. The telescope itself may crash and burn but its images last forever.

they have just fixed the main camera is now up and running again, and yes we should try and maintain it as long as possible, even tho the telescope reached it's projected deadline long time ago. it's been a marvel of techcnology.

I believe it should be. We could do it by giving up the worthless manned moon and Mars mission ideas. Anything we need done on the moon or Mars could be done significantly cheaper with robotic probes.
