Get creative and tell me what you think. I hear a lot of people talk about shapeshifting and what not in movies and fiction, but what about nonliving forms? What would you want your consiousness to be inside, espcially if you could turn back and forth?

I know, I know. Disturbed, but have fun with it.

A sea eagle or any bird that is protected, Maybe a swallow or a swift, they go on holidays and they know no borders, no religion, no beaurocracy, no wars, they just are and they are free. I'm just an ex-hippy, but becoming a tree? no way, to static man. Does anyone remember Capability Brown, The group not the landscaper. They sang a song called "No Range," about the Indians in USA.

Stardust! We are stardust, and so is all life on Earth. Thus I would be in everyone and every living thing. I would also be in most if not all of the primary, secondary and tertiary rocks as well as the soils and detritus on the surface of the planet. Universal planetary consciousness second only to Gaia (Mother Earth herself).

I've thought about your question - the answer is nothing. You spoke about shape shifting - isn't that when you take on another form of something living. I believe our Indian ancestors believed in that ability for their Shaman or Holy People. It's also a belief of other religions and cultures. I'm sorry - I can't choose anything non-living; but living I would be a Tiger!

The Wind. I'd be able to travel the globe and interact with Earth's creatures - cooling the overheated with my breath and caressing others with the lightest breeze. Still others, deserving of my contempt, could feel my wrath as I knocked them backwards.

I'd be a mountain in the Scottish highlands, or possibly wales. You could just sit and ponder the world and watch it change around you (I would assume a mountain would see time very differently from the way that we do).
