He was referring to me. He is a republican and I am a far left liberal but he and I completely agree on Tancredo. Btw, I'm not even from his state.

Tancredo is a republican congressman in Colorado and the only republican currently that I fully support. I was so impressed with him one night after seeing him on PBS's Tavis Smiley that I had to go immediately find his website and email. (done that about 4 times in my life)

I do think ppl should check this guy out. Very impressive.

I suspect you were joking when you wrote this comment, which is not even a question, really. But in Santa Cruz, near where I live, the "beach bums" (mostly surfers) are important. They are the watchdogs of the water: they are the ones taking responsibility for the campaign to clean up the beaches and keep the sewage out of the water. They successfully organized a campaign to put signs on the storm drains saying "No dumping: flows to the bay."

Of course, the surfers are also a significant part of our economy, as they bring in tourists and photographers and sports enthusiasts.
