You can call them whatever you want. But you'd be grammatically wrong if you called them "Indians" because "-ns" is a suffix ... in this case a suffix on the end of "India." You should call them "Indianans," which is made by putting the suffix "-ns" on the end of "Indiana."

'Cause we are called Hoosiers for some reason. But I was just wondering myself yesterday about this. I have not study Indiana history but it would be interesting to know how it got its name.

Idiot!Just because a state or country sounds like a race, doesn't mean it's ,like that.For example, India, If you go to India you won't see Indians walking around with bows and arrows.Think before you write please and excuse me for my language.

B/C they are normal Americans and most of them do not come from the country India.
