No difference...the amount of it at an energy plant could vary, I guess...same as the size of a missile (current ones that a country has compared to those used during WWII against Japan). But atomic or nuclear, that's just a matter of what word you want to use, because it's the same stuff.

They are one in the same. The term "atom bomb" is from the 1940's.

atomic and nuclear are the same atom reaction.
Atom bomb exploded in a nuclear reaction.
