Best kind of leaders - left, right, religious? Would the religious right be good with welfare?

Question

Looking for a sensible government which does not mess everything up like leftists, but cares about people. Christians make a point of teaching charity and caring for others' needs. How would they be? If it weren't for hardnosed positions like banning abortion or prostitution (political theorizing there) would it seem appealing? With Democrats like Al Gore making a total mess of the "Theory" of "climate change" and anything else they touch, we need a better alternative.

We haven't had any leftest leaders, or really any elected officials that I know of- in my lifetime. So, I don't quite see how you can say they've messed anything up. We've seen what a religious leader and the far right can do-. That's why we're in the mess we're in today..hated by other countries, attacking other nations like the school yard bully, torturing people without even trials to convict them, while our own citizens loose health care, mental health care, necessary social services.... the gap between the poorest and riches in our nation is at it's worse... while new home sales go up for the rich to have 2nd and 3rd homes there are more homeless then ever living in the streets. (I'll try to stop myself from going on.....)

Someone who follows 'true' Christian principles- while still be able to separate church and state would be my choice- like Jimmy Carter did.

Any extreme is bad, but unfortunately the ones in the middle tend to be in the middle because they're trying to walk both sides of the fence at the same time. They have no convictions of their own and change their position to fit the crowd that they're talking to-. So, of course they can't get anything done.

Avoid Theocracy, of any theology, like the plague. along with all the Marx and Mao and all that male bovine excriment.

The best form of government that hase ever been is the American Constitutional form... It aint perfect by any means but it is better than all the rest to date...BY FAR
