supposedly, if you work hard, you can be successful some time near the future. but to me, it seems that no matter how hard a person works or tries, there is no more room for advancement. it's like you get stuck with a shitty job and will never succeed, if you don't know the right people, or if your boss doesn't like you, or if you don't have whatever. the reason i came here to america was equal opportunity for all, but now it seem like there is more prejudice that exist in a workplace then there use to be.

Hard work does not necessarily equal risk.... where the success actually happens.

I can wash dishes, mow lawn, pitch roofs, assemble parts or weld 14 hours a day and never "succeed" in the manner you suggest.

It is when we are willing to risk something to do something for ourselves that we enjoy the biggest successes. If you work janitorial services you may make between $7-$10/hr depending on your location... If you are willing to grab a pair and start your own janitorial service you will bill those hours out at $20-$35/hr depending on location and enjoy the profit the business generates. Risk = potential for reward... same as investing in the stock market. Limited Risk = limited rewards.

Hell yeah I'm not gonna lie there saying you can't get a job with just an high school diploma(nope) that is complete b.s. i know kids in college who have MC Donald's jobs .there saying the only way to get a good paying job these days is to get your masters degree. Also the way your grades are in high school also affect what kind of job you will get (wish i knew that before I graduated).Word of advice do your best in high school or you'll regret it either that or have a sexy body for modeling, nice voice for singing,or a really cool talent that no can do but you because if not don't think about getting ahead with out a miracle.
