Because staring is rude. If I wear a low cut top, yes, I am asking for attention. Steal a peak. Compliment me if you are feeling bold. But don't stare. In fact, guys earn major points in my book if they can carry on a conversation with me and look me in the eye, not in the breast. (Regardless of what I'm wearing. Let's face it, guys who stare at women's breasts are going to do it whether she is wearing a low cut blouse or a turtleneck sweater.)

That's why I show cleavage so you will stare, so why get pissed. You must be looking at the wrong women.

I look at it like this: Some women wear shirts like that because they know what it will make guys do. Sometimes, I wear them because it is freakin' hot outside, and I need to wear a tanktop. It's rare that I wear those shirts out of the house, but I also don't like people staring at me when I do. Not that I get pissed, I'm just not comfortable with it. (Edited to add: I'm talking a normal tanktop. Not some sleazy shirt that STARTS at my belly button)
Same thing with guys. Just because they take off their shirt, doesn't mean they want to be oggled. I mean, being guys, they probably do. But we don't know for sure. Maybe it's just hot!
I dunno ... I'm just saying, there are other possibilities than showing off the goods.

couldn't tell ya, really. Girls wear those shirts cuz they're skanks and want attention. But, they're in denial that they're skanks. So when a guy stares they think that guys think that they're skanks. That's the only reason I can think of
