It sits on the display screen of the Asus logo for like 5-10 minutes before it starts. I updated my Nforce4 drivers too, but that didn't seem to fix the problem. Any one ever deal with this sort of thing?

first off the drivers will do nothing if the pc isn't in windows.

Go into the bios and load the setup defaults or fail safe values and see how it goes.

If that doesn't work download an older version of the bios and flash to it ( you can back flash to an older version, like the backup you made before you flashed to the new onem you did make a back up, i am sure).

if that doesn't work, do whatever you have to do to disable the ASUS logo screen (ussually TAB), so that you can see whats going on behind the logo, that is ussually a good place to start.

Check your manual. I have a P5WD2 Premium ASUS board and what your seeing seems consistent with CPU Fan and Temperature irregularities. Is it hot?

Try flashing it again. If the problem still persist, check on the manufacturer website to see if there are certain considerations that you might be overlooking.
