This was the first World Cup I've really followed, and I love Spain, so their most exciting moment was probably their 4th goal against Ukraine... But I'll also probably never forget Zidane's goal in the Spain-France game... It was sad for me, because it was like the 90 something-th minute, and I was still holding on to the hope that Spain might tie it up, but that was the last nail in the coffin, so to speak. It was pretty cool for Zidane, though. He's definitely still a good player, and it was a very dramatic goal.

David Beckham's penalty against ARGENTINA in the 2002 World Cup finals Group F. His celebrations was so estatic coz he has buried the painful memories of 1998, when he was sent off against the same team & ENGLAND were eliminated on penalties. ENGLAND won the match 1-0 against one of their great rivals & ARGENTINA crash-out in the group stage.

There have been lots of memorable moments in this WC and not all are nice to recall. But for me I would have to say Australia scoring their first world cup points, three of them in one game to defeat Japan. Next game I was just so proud to see them lined up to take on Brazil.

the only thing ill remember from this WC is that the refs were so bad and some teams got affected by these refs.
