In my opinion I have heard from the Oprah show that 500,000 men in the U.S. are register sex offense rs .So I do not know exactly what is really age you are 12 or 18 years old but I warn every single or married women about these deadly type of sickness people running around and ruin others for life.I urge everyone to be careful about these people.They are not welcome in my home as well as my community.By the way only 28 so far in my town and I make sure the cop inform me in case they leave or change their addresses.Good luck lady and come back to tell us because,I may be wrong about this person.

What kind of like are you talking about? What laws are you talking about?
If you mean like as in liking somebody like an older sister or brother likes a younger sister or brother...I think that is a normal reaction to likable young people, and I don't know of laws against that. If you mean like as in would they become infatuated with a young person....in any kind of romantic way-I'd discourage anything of that kind because usually it does lead to something against the law.
In general I think 21-year-old need to stay away from 12 year olds especially if they like them in a romantic or physical way.
21 year olds need to hang around others who are 21 and over.
12 year olds need to hang around other 12 year olds.
Whether laws are broken or not, 12 year olds need to be protected from possible abuse and actual abuse by adults.

Well, I'm sure it's okay to like a 12 year old. I like many people, young or old. However, when these friendly feelings escalate to love or lust, then you have an inappropriate, bizarre, and dangerous situation. You could get into serious legal trouble for performing lewd and inappropriate acts with such a young person. In fact, you could get into trouble for doing such acts with anyone, particularly if they don't consent to your doing that. Above all, it's morally wrong to steal innocence from such little people. So don't do it. I think a 21 year old is strange if he/she doesn't feel an attraction to people his/her own age.
(Edit: When I said like above, I mean FRIENDLY liking, and not love or lust.)
