I am really having a hard time believing that guys are capable of truly being into a woman rather than just in the relationship for what he can get out of it.

There ARE guys out there that are good and want someone to love for the rest of their life. There are some jerks and there are some that are absolutely not. My husband is one of the good ones, we've been together for 12 years and he always compliments me even though I don't feel secure in the way I look after having 2 kids. He honestly loves me very very much and always has wonderful things to say about me. THEY DO EXIST!

I'll take any opportunity to brag on my husband, so here goes! We have been married for almost nine years, and he still treats me as wonderful as he did on our first date! Everyone of my girlfriends and female relatives have all made the comment that they have never seen a man so in love with his wife. And what is even more amazing to me, is how wonderful he also is with our children.
There are a lot of great men out there. Sure, sometimes it might be harder to find them because all the jerks seem to approach you first! But really, you'll find someone who will love you for you. And like you, he'll also put a lot of time and effort into the relationship. I never would have guessed that I could be so in love with someone the way I am with my husband, but I am! So don't give up. When the time is right, it will happen for you and you'll be glad that you waited for him to come along!

well, ive been married for 16 yrs and there are days that i dont feel loved. my hubby says he still loves me but after having 3 girls, its hard to think so. physical contact at this point is minimal unless i start something like hugging, kissing, hand holding, but thats all i start, the rest is up to him since he works odd hrs every day. i know he doesnt look at me the same way he did when we started dating 16 yrs ago either. we were together a month when he proposed and 6 months later married. best of luck
