Jersey Gov. shut down??

Question

Can anyone enlighten me as to what is going on with the New jersey Government? I heard today it was shut down, no money? Will this impact the rest of us? Where did the money go?

They have used up the monies allocated for this year's budget.
And since the deadline for providing new funds expired, the Governor of NJ had no other choice but to halt all current projects and close the offices.
Don't worry though... it's a popular move... they'll find the money and everything will be back to 'normal'...
Hopefully though a lot of the "porkbelly" projects will now be more-throughly scrutinized.
