Are we that far apart that neither side wants to hear what the other side has to say. Both sides sometimes make good points but is always shined on by each other. We are allowed to have differences which is great There is always middle ground. Neither side is ever completely .right or wrong. Why cant we have open discussions without all of the accusations and attacks on each other. I am a raidcal that almost everybody hates and I see good and bad coming from both camps. Maybe the day will come when we can all listen to each other, openly discuss the issues the way we are supposed to.

I was told that was the point of higher education. You learn to discuss your point of view without offending anyone.
The bashing here doesn't bother me because you're dealing with a wide variety of education levels, ages, and life- experiences. I find it quite entertaining, actually. The university discussions are non-offensive, but they lack passion.

Well, it comes down to difference of opinions. Sometimes, people are just that, people. We are not loving all the time and sometimes we allow the human side of us to come through and hurt others.

In talking to a non-christian, people have to come to a full understanding of the world and what it can do to destroy others. We must provide each other with a loving perspective that is not seen by other individuals. Now, with that those who are on the receiving end, must understand our overall conviction and understand we are called to spread the truth to everyone.

Actually it is very healthy. I would rather we all bash each other in here where it is safe than riot out in the streets.
