You have just become one of the most desirable men on the planet. You have a good job (possibly) as long as you ex is free and clear from the picture and not sucking you dry from alimony/child support. In the eyes of women you have technically been "house broken" Go get yourself a gal!

Get out there and do some dating! Just be honest and upfront with the women you ask out, and I agree with the above response that you need to let the women know what seperated means -- I would be wondering if this means you and she still share a house but not a bed and you talk everyday, or if you haven't seen or heard from her in months and the divorce isn't final because of legalities. Any which way, go have some fun!

Some women will probably be a little cautious because some men do go back to their wives. But in your situation you shouldn't have that problem. I would be okay with it if I knew for sure that you were seperated and not going back to your wife.

Its fine to date, but be honest with your date. I'm not saying say "hi my name is john and i'm technically still married....". But, let the person know before things go too far. Definitely before you have sex. That is, of course, if youre looking for a relationship at this time. If all you want is a one night stand, then go to a bar.

personally, i would prefer to date someone who's divorce is already final. if you've been separated for 2 years why don't you finalise it already and move on? i would just wonder what's taken you so long if you haven't properly divorced yet. that's my personal opinion and other ladies might not be bothered, especially those who are separated also. you need to shut one door, before you can open another.

Wish you good luck with your dating. As long as you're honest with the women you date and let them know you're only separated, it should be OK. Define separated to them too. Does it mean married and just not happy or legally separated.

well if the relationship with the wife is truly over i think its fine. the only time people get in trouble with this is when the wife thinks they are trying to work things out and the guy is trying to get some before he goes back to his marriage, if that isn't the case go out and have a blast!
