I wear a size 9 shoe and wear a size 9 cleat. It all comes down to feeling. Friends of mine wear their cleats smaller than there shoe size for a better feel of the ball.
I would say go to a store to try different cleats on because each brand has their own unique feel. And my personal favorite place to purchase cleats is www.soccer.com. If you can't find something you like there you probably won't find it anywhere else!

you should go to a store. If ur a 9 9 1/2 you should get what size u feel is tighter on u because with all the running you feel better
that ur heel isn't sliding up and down as u run.

my cleats are smaller than my shoe size, but htat may not be true for every one,
it depends on the shoe and ur foot
my shoe size is 10, but my cleats are 9 1/2

Purchase them in a store hun.That way you can try them on.Start out at what size you think you`d wear and go from there...good luck!
