One of the things that consistently follows Tim Thomas is the fact that he plays good in the last year of a contract season to ensure that he gets big money when his contract is up. After he obtains that contract he has been known to become a tad bit lazy.

As far as if the lakers should have signed him instead one could argue. Radmonavic is going to open up the lane for the lakers if he continues making his outside jumpers, and becomes a threat behind the 3pt line. In order for this to happen he also need to be able to develop a low post game, where his defender must defend him rather than sag off of him and double kobe up. The very same can be said for our centers Kwame Brown and Chris Mihm.

There are other positives that Tim Thomas could have broughten to the team as well, but the Clippers did sign Tim Thomas to a lesser contract. Time will only tell which team got the better end of the stick.

No. The Clippers needed to replace Radmonivic. Radmonivic was clutch in the playoffs too. He came off the bench and scored 18 points. With the Lakers, he will start and score 20 points.

I really don't see either player being a difference maker to whether the Lakers can win a championship.

No. Tim Thomas only play consistently well when his contract is up. both are soft but, Radmonovic is a better pure shooter.
