How in the world can you expect a serious answer with a question like that? I really am not sure. So here is as serious as it gets. It would make you a human with with black and white stripes. I would probably think you were a prison convict. Anyway back to why you wouldn't be a zebra... You couldn't run 55 mph and I doubt you have the stamina of a zebra. They can walk around 50 miles in a day ON ALL FOURS! Their front legs seem a little bowlegged to me too. Your ears aren't in the correct place to be a zebra, and bless your pea pickin heart if they're as big as a zebra's. You'd have to find some kids to pin the tail on you (I know it is pin the tail on the donkey, but hey a donkey and a zebra at least resemble each other). Zebras are actually white with black stripes. So should you decide to actually paint yourself with a zebra paint scheme paint your entire body white then stripe yourself with the black. Finally my advice to you would be to either have fun at your costume party or seek professional help IMMEDIATELY. What a silly question!

In the metaphoric since this would obviously make you appear to have zebra-like qualities. Other zebras would see you as another zebra. If you were to paint zebra stripes on a wall, an actual zebra would stand next to it due to its grazing characteristics.

Now to answer the age old question, "Is a zebra black with white stripes, or white with black stripes." You said "If I paint myself with black and white stripes." Well, it is thought that most zebras are actually white with black and sometimes brown stripes. To portray the actual coat of a zebra I would have to advise you to paint yourself entirely white and then paint on black stripes.

no. the stripes are not everything that constitutes a zebra. zebras have hooves, a tail, a mane, an entirely different bone structure, are not nearly as intelligent as humans (or at least not in the same way), and are extremely disproportionate to humans (for example, their fore- and hind- legs are the same length). Also, they are herbivores, whereas humans are carnivores (this is for the sake of bone structure -- teeth, eye socket location, etc.).

Actually, Zebras are white with black stripes.
Of course you would have to move to the Serengeti and become alligator fodder. THEN you would be a Zebra.
