Bucking rolls attach to an a-fork tree type saddle they strap on so you have a place to hook you leg under so if the horse bucks you can hook your knee under the bucking roll and stay in the saddle.
They fit onto a a-fork tree saddle. The type that is narrow in the front up by where the horn is.

you attatch these chunks of leather to your western saddle as an added support right in front of your legs if you have a horse that bucks. these could also help you sgtay in the saddle of a roping horse or a cutting horse. the ones i saw ranged from 70-150 bucks.....
