I stole a few pieces of candy from a bag in a store when I was 12 years old. The manager saw me and caught me at the door before I left. He told me he was going to call the police or my parents. Well, my dad was a detective so telling my parents was telling the police. I told him that and swore I would pay double for the whole bag out of my lunch money the next day if he didn't tell anyone. He agreed and I payed as I said I would. It was a lesson well learned. I was SO embarrassed.

No, I never did. I once put stickers in my pocket, while looking at something else. But I didn't leave the store. But by the time I was ready to leave the store, I took the stickers out of my pocket and placed them some where, first. And I was once accused of shop lifting, while reading a greeting card that I might buy. Consequently I ended up putting the card down, and storming out of the store in anger then shaking my head no, when a cop asked if anything was wrong back at the store.

To be honest, no. Not even a pen nor pencil from work. Once when a police officer approached me to question me about an incident that I had witnessed he thought I was guilty person just by the expression on my face. I always look guilty even though I have done nothing wrong. And to this day I don't know what's up with that even thou I have pondered the matter.

Yep....I was about 13 (way back when Jesus Christ was a little boy). I lifted a pair of pink shorts and a shirt from the .5 & dime store (the forerunner to Dollar General type places). Got caught, had to go down to the police station and get a lecture from the Sheriff (small town) had to pay n my fine every week out of my allowance, and I caught Hell from my mom. Didn't do it again. Ever. Honest.

When I was younger (maybe 4) I took a gumball because I didn't know I had to pay for it. Then my older sister told me if someone caught me they'd lock me up in jail so I spit it out real quick. Then there was the time when I stole a bag of chips in grade school. Other than that I haven't stolen anything though I did watch a friend of mine steal a cheap bracelet. even though I didn't steal it I felt so guilty and I didn't go shopping with her for a long while.

When I was about 7 years old I stole some bath beads thinking that they were candy. My mom caught me and knowing what they were made me eat one. I learned my lesson really quick. I was spitting soap out of the car window the whole way home.

I took a Bible, but found out later they were giving them away. I wanted to know what everyone was so excited about and I did not have a penny to my name. I was 23 and raising my baby on my own. I felt so badly about it that I went to give it back and the man at that church said Child it is yours, you are meant to have it. Praise the Lord! My life was changed forever.

I got caught stealing makeup once for my girlfriend who was going to prom with my brother. Did I need to steal it? Absolutely not. Did I learn my lesson? Hell yes, my Mom beat my *** to a pulp (not really a physical beating), just made me feel like total ****. That was 20 years ago and I haven't stolen any thing since.

I was 6 and stoled a pen out of a purse in a department store. Never have done it again.
