yes just finish your packet then when you want to get back on just follow the directions that your doctor gave you when you first started, or you can ask about the nuvaring

I was on Yasmin for a few weeks, but I was apparently allergic to something in it. I use the Nuvaring now and it's great! I don't have to think about it everyday and worry about missing the dose. I'm not sure why you're tired of it, but I have a 3-year old and no pill would ever make me so tired of it that I risked being a new mom again. I love my daughter, but its a lot of work! :) Just talk to your doctor about your concerns. She can give you advice on other types of medicines and let you know how to proporly change medicines. But, don't just get off the medicine until your really for a little angel of a baby!

What are you tired of, the daily pill taking? If so talk to your doctor about other forms of birth control, like depo, or the patch and try to determine if you are a good candidate for either. Yes you can go off the pill and start again later, I have done it. However, either you must abstain from sex or use other forms of temporary birth control if you do not want to end up pregnant.

why would you get off and then get back on in a couple of months?? You must know that there is risk of you getting pregnant and dealing with an unwanted pregnancy can be more tiring that having to take a pill everyday.

why would you want to go off it for only a couple of months? If your problem is you're tired of having to take the pill then I suggest talking to your doctor about an IUD. Its a lot easier.
