Yes twice...

A UFO is not an alien spacecraft. It is ANY unidentified flying object.

The first one I saw when i was about 12, walking home from buying fish and chips with my mother and we saw a red light hovering across the valley from us...then it streaked away diagonally upwards very very fast. This was at night time

The second as i was driving a car home from my friends house. I saw several dancing white shapes moving around and around which lasted for about a minute, i even stopped the car when i was able to watch them. This was in broad daylight

Possibly. It was definitely an unidentified flying object but I don't know if it was an alien spaceship or anything like that. lol. I was at the beach on the 4th of July a couple years ago. There were a lot of people there waiting for the fireworks to start in a few hours (so it was still blue sky). There was a red glowing object that looked like a dot. It definitely wasn't a star because it was bright red. It stayed in one place for a long time, I'd say at least 40 minutes. After a while it got brighter. The intensity increased a lot. It became a very deep red and larger. Then it just split in half and 2 smaller red dots shot out in opposite directions at incredible speed, like 2 meteors. I have no idea what it could have been.

I believe had a close encounter. I was in bed down southern England staying with friends at a wedding. I heard a humming noise outside the window at night and lights directly shining into my room. Something seemed to hover / hum for quite a while and I felt it was somewhat odd and threatening and didnt dare open the curtains. Next day I went outside to check thinking it surely must have been some ignorant persons car head lights shining in my room only to find the garden enclosed within a housing estate and no road at all behind where my bedroom was. This is a true story.

A good many UFOs from the middle of the last century were prototypes of new fighter planes, stealth bombers. We used to get them on radar now and again. But we also picked up swans and boats in a nearby river.

I've seen plenty of FOs which at the time I wasn't quite able to identify exactly, which makes them UFOs I suppose, though I did manage to classify all of them in a general sense ("bird", "plane", etc)

sorry, being silly. I'm a sceptic. It's too tempting to answer these ones. Which reminds me of something...

yes I have. There were three in a row and they slowed down and just kind of hung in the sky and then all of a sudden took off so fast I could hardly see them anymore.
