Do spirits take animal form?

Most spirits can take on either a humanoid form, an animal form or an elemental form depending on the certain properties and conditions on which the spirit was formed to begin with.

Native Americans believe in Animal Spirit totems.
Shinto which is one of the Japanese religions; believe that all things have spirits and will take on the form of the thing they were at "death" in the after life. IE: a Veggie (any kind) can have a spirit form, a plant, animal, even inanimate items such as trees, water etc. all can have a spirit form in the after life. Kinda weird but actually a really neat religious belief when you read about it.

Yes spirits can take any form they choose normally they are earthier a white outline of a human or a darker form that most people freak out on animals even come back as spirits the next question is do you be live in sprites

As you can see, many people believe in different things. I, on the other hand, do think that spirits can take the form of another animal, as I do believe that reincarnation can be involved in this. But as I said, because everyone believes differently, there isn't an answer where none of us would debate over. You just have to decide on your own personal experience

i dont know but probably no one would know because if spirits take animal form then wouldnt this question be figured out cuz then if u die and u take a form of dog, and in the past they did test wit animals to see if people took animal forms and never was answer because if u take a form of animal and they r testin u wouldnt u remeber that were a human once and have remeber about ur past life

it all depends where your coming from culturally, Native Americans believe they do, and so do some West African cultures, and some Ancient European and Egyptian cultures, which predate most modern beliefs that say otherwise. so it depends on where your question is coming from.
