at one bridal shower i was at, they hid condoms all over outside and whoever found the most won a prize. at another (this one's fun) they tied strings around our waists with hot dogs tied to the other end. we then had to squat (using no hands) over a set mouse trap and set it off with the hot dog. whoever cut the least amount of hot dog off won.

I prefer fun activities rather than games at bridal showers. I often find that one reason people bail on showers is so they don't have to play the dumb/embarassing games.
Try something new like - everyone makes a scarpbook page for the bride! Things like that. Then, not only will the shy people be included, the bride will end up with something wonderful that will always remind her of her friends.

You could always do the classic toilet paper wedding dress game where you break up into teams and choose one girl to be the bride and then make the bride a wedding dress out of toilet paper and have someone judge the best "dress". Have fun!
