Actually the big bang created more than 2 universes and they are going in opposite directions. Because they are many they are going everyway. And yes

there are no other directions for another universe to go. space-time itself originated in the big bang. the universe is finite and boundaryless. it may be something like the two dimensional surface of a sphere. it has no edge and no center. also, there is nothing "outside" the universe. to quote a dead writer, "there's no there, there". the big bang was the entire universe, and everywhere in the universe was once the big bang.

The big bang created one universe, scattered in all directions. This universe is broken down further into solar systems, galaxies, and probably other organizations I'm not fully farmiliar with.

The 'Big Bang' happened all by itself? You mean like, spontaneous creation of matter? There was no orignal creator or force which caused it to happen?

So if I concentrate hard enough, I can bring into existence a big pile of money?

Nothing is something in and of itself...Big Bang?...Dark comes before or after nothing? Math before light? Poke holes in the box my friend...before or after you cross the road?!! Why does Santa ignore Jewish chimneys? Are there actually TWO SANTAS?

I think "direction" in this question is meaningless because prior to the big bang there was no direction.

Yes. There are a lot of universes.

Some of them are at the mall, so they're not available for comment just now.

no, the big bang created one starting from the single point... but it is possible that there are other singularities that could spawn other universes
