It depends on the angle of the dangle of the participle. "After being squeezed vigorously, Sanitizer put down the accordion." Now do you know of any effective shampoos for split infinitives? Do run-on-sentences ever get tired. Do double negatives have a positive effect? How do conjunctions function? Do leading questions have their followers? Are pronouns ever against anything? Do adjectives have a modifying influence? Are prepositions too preppy? Just some of life's imponderables.

If properly structured, you shouldn't write a sentence with a dangling participle.

Hmm, just used that phrase in an answer myself. Now I know why I felt so trashy while I was writing it!
But then again, it could have been a dangling modifier, do you think they have anything in common. Do they function in the whole?
I will ask my Grammar and see what she says about this.

Obviously I don't see anything obscene in it, as I am a refined fishypanda and I haven't even got a mind. :)
