Aren't we all getting a little tired of these tactics? Of the twisting of the truth, of the shameless name-calling, of the lack or real moral fiber from both extremes?

These people don't speak for the real America, not the one I love and grew up in. They don't represent us. Why aren't we doing our part to run them out of office?

I have a suggestion: Try locating and supporting and voting for the most moderate people you can find to run for office. At least this way you'll know these people will represent as large a segment of America as possible.

We shouldn't necessarily elect the most moderate people you can find--otherwise you won't be able to predict their voting patterns and they may end up not satisfying ANYBODY.

We should elect people with clear voting records, but who are also flexible and won't bend to the extremists of the party. They're somewhat of a commodity nowadays, but they're out their.

You're right though, the two parties in power right now don't represent hardly anyone except corporations and welfare recipients. The democrats are starting to fill in the void where the Republicans left conservatism for neo-conservatism (aka Nationalist Christian Fascism).

My granpa, who was a die hard Reaganite nearly made me pass out when he started against Bush over dinner the other day. I take it as a sign times could change with the right leadership...or the world is about to end.

\/\/007!!! Libertarianism! Of course, the party is in a mess... the ideology's fine, but the party's broke. It could be a powerhouse, though.
