if not used properly then yes. some parents don't watch their children and they get hurt. more of the parents are irresponsible.

I feel if you were brought up to know the dangers of them and respect and handle them carefully they are not anymore dangerous then anything else in this world that has a chance to hurt you.
is driving a car dangerous? know what i mean?

Fire & explosions usually are. I think that if they are used responsibly and under proper supervision, they are more fun than dangerous.

If you use them the right way and they aren't defective, then no they're not dangerous, but one slip up could cause a serious injury.

I like going to see them done professionally but I can't stand people using them in their yards. Not only is it unsafe but it is so annoying. It causes my family a lot of trouble. It keeps my kids awake and frightens them, it scares the pis* out of my oldest dog (literally) and my younger dog runs around like crazy barking(both dogs get meds to calm them down but this still happens) Therefore I do not like when people use them !!!

I believe fireworks are dangerous when they are in the hands of small and when conditions are very dry.
