I'm invited for the first time to a christening. It's the christening of a far baby cousin of mine and I have no idea what to do... HELP PLEASE?

Yeah, that can be a tough one. A nice thing to get for a christening gift would be something personalized like a collecters baby spoon, a blanket or a silver rattle. You can buy things like that for pretty cheap, plus it shows that you put thought into the gift. If you're pressed for time and can't wait for something to get personalized or can't find their name pre-printed on something, than I would go for a pretty picture frame. Hey, even a personalized picture frame would be really cute! Savings Bonds are always a good gift also. Good luck:o)

The nicest little gifts are a gold bracelet, necklace with cross or with the virgen on it. Or at spanish stores a nice photo album where they can put all the events pictures at. Where it is a boy or a girl these two gifts are really nice. A lot of people give gift cards to there favorite store also. That way the mother can buy gifts that the baby needs.

I usually buy a savings bond for christenings. Children won't do anything with jewelry or books at that age and it is a bit more serious occasion so a toy is not called for.

A commemorative cup, and if you want have it engraved with baby's name and Christening date.

If there are any religious book/gift stores near you such as Family Christian Book Store, they have lots of nice things.

get a card, do you know the gender of the baby get some booties, a sweater, and just be yourself. and maybe a baby blanket in the babys colors.
