First of all this makes no sense what so ever
You plead GUILTY.
The DA would not have wanted to prosecute this case if there had not been testimony to the contrary that you had stolen this guitar.
Perhaps even though things had been explained to your sister in law she did not drop the charges that she filed on you in the first place.
If your sister in law had really dropped the charges a warrant would have not been issued for your arrest.
Now here is what you need to do.
Find out the names of the INITIAL police officers who talked to your sister inlaw when she was told what actually happended.
Because to tell you the truth I am having a hard time swallowing all of this. If your sister in law had told those initial police officers it was a mistake then report would not have been filed as a theft with a warrant being issued for your arrest. You must have been told when to show up in court initially to straighten out this matter.
and if you weren;t and didn;t appear THAT IS WHEN the warrant for your arrest is issued.
You should have never plead guilty to something if it was a big misunderstanding that could have been straightened out.
Now I notice your brother pleaded with the DA BUT NOT your sister in law who was the COMPLAINTANT. SHE FILED THE CHARGES. Only she can decide not to press charges and then the DA would have had no case.

So you are guilty when it's convenient, but you want to be not guilty now that it's not. Good luck! You remember the judge asking you if you are pleading guilty because you are in fact guilty? And you said, Yes, your honor?
The only way to change it without going through a legal procedure with a lawyer is to petition the governor for a pardon. Forms are usually available on line at the governor's office web site. Not that the governor is going to really have a lot of pity for someone who didn't want to stay in one of his nice jails until witnesses showed up to testify.

Its going to take some time and effort on your part. Unfortunately you plead guilty, that's admission/confession however you call it. I seriously doubt you can get this off your record now with a guilty plea. If you are under employed or unemployed you might qualify for legal aid and consult an attorney to help you straighten this out, the worse you can be told is no.

Sorry - you're out of success. You gave up your rights once you pleaded to blame, besides the actual incontrovertible reality that it became the lesser of two evils on the time for you. the in straight forward words aspect you may do at this aspect is pass back to courtroom to have the fee decreased to a misdemeanor and then likely expunged. You DO favor an lawyer to attempt this for you notwithstanding. in case you had a public defender, you could contact their workplace about operating with you in this, notwithstanding this is as a lot as them.

That prosecuting DA needs to get his head out of his a@@. You need to find a good lawyer because according to you, you have excellent witnesses (THE COPS!!!) that can substantiate your claims. If you can win your false conviction then you should sue the city in civil court for damages to your reputation, character. Good luck, if everything you say is true, this is a clear slam dunk case.

If you are convicted already, work on the absolute pardon. If that was mistrial, ask for the review of the case. Go to your DA and bring new evidences and witnesses' affidavits.

Did you not have a lawyer? Did you not know what peading guilty meant?
You definitely need a lwayer for something like that, but I beleive you have cooked your goose by peading guilty. It's closed now. I don't think you can say "but I didn't MEAN it!" now...

File a lawsuit. You've been besmirched. Seriously-I'm not trying to be funny or cute, and usually, I am not one to tell people to sue. Find a pro bono (however you spell it) lawyer and sue.
Good luck.
