I have a webcam and a mouse with a USB 2.0 connections. Will these connections work on a Numeric keypad with USB 1.1. sockets?

They should though you won't get the speed that you would if you connected to a USB 2.0 socket.

My external hard drive is USB 2.0, but my computer is only equipped with USB 1.1 sockets. Every once in awhile, I get a pop up reminder that things would be a lot faster if the drive was connected to a USB 2.0 device. However, it works just fine....just not as fast.

yeah itll just be slower.. not slow enough for you to recognize tho.. usb 2.0 is fast with data transfer.. thats about the only time youll see it..

it will work but it will be slower. they sell adapters for that
