Good question. Hope so. probably not, the oil companies already have tested the market and have found that the consumer will pay the higher price. They have no incentive to lower fuel prices.

No now society is so use to paying around 3 dollars they wont bring it down ne more bc people keep on buy gas so automatically the government isnt gonna do nething bout it
