i have been to Middle Earth ( well thats not true, of kors! )
i know that Frodo is gonne be the Saviour and Sam is gonna save him!
Bilbo is my friend ( though we are not close...)
I designed Smiggle... ( that's not true either...)
i know Aragorn is gonna end up w/ Arwen...
i was hoping Legolas would end up w/ me...
I have a souvenir from Peter Jackson... ( well thats for KingKong!)

Let me see. I first read “The Hobbit” and “The Lord of the Rings” back in the 60's. When “The Silmarillion” first came out, I had a copy 2 days before the release.
I saw the movies on the day they came out, and was disappointed in them. I think they were fantastic, but left out so much and changed some very important parts. I wish they had shown Tom Bombadil and Goldberry and also the scouring of the Shire, but I also understand time constraints (that is why I always say the book is better than the movie! ALWAYS).
I also did not like the way Sauraman died in the movies.
Yea, I guess you could say I was a fan.

For many years since I first read the books, about 18 - 20 years now. Have both theatrical and extended versions of all three movies and also the late 70's animated versionproduced by Ralph Bakshi. Peter Jackson did a hell of a job bringing the charactes to life.

I like the movies, own the movies they are a little too long and they could of cut the last movie shorter

I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOTR!!!!!! the books the movies....you name it!!!! I never get tierd of Lord of the Rings...no matter what people say about me!!!
