This is an ignorant question...This president has more people of color in higher offices than any administration in history...I guess Gonzales, Rice, and Powell are not colorful enough...How black do you have to be before you are considered a "person of color"? Or is it only those that have views that are contrary to the president's that are considered "people of color"..Maybe he should appoint those who completely disagree with him so that it would appear that he is concerned with "people of color"...Let me throw another name out there to see if maybe you would consider him a "person of color"- what do you think about J.C.Watts out of Oklahoma? Is he a "person of color" or just another token...J.C. Watts for president in 2008, sounds good to me!

No, they don't care, they are the government.
Did Mayor McChocolate care about the people of color in New Orleans? No he didn't. He left them there to fend for themselves, and left some of them to die.
You must be an extreme racist, to ask a question like that.
Where was the Massive amounts of national guard, and all the help for the people who were just flooded out up in Pa, NJ and Md? They didn't need half of the national guard of the country to help them, because when the authorities told them to leave, they left. They are helping each other clean up also. Unlike N.O. where the lazy ones are expecting the government to do everything for them, while they steal FEMA money to take vacations, gamble, and pay for lap dances.
And it sure seems like you have no problem insulting three great American hero's of our time by saying they were token appointments, you are a racist pig.

Please colored people have been using the Racsit Card for years now, If they dont get into a college its becuse they are colored. if they dont get a job its coz they are colored, If they are appointed a great position and considerd to be a canidate for presidential elections their a token. Bush hates black people. The only reason Rice is in office is b/c he is having an affair with her. He had Powell in office to be his brain. Bush is dumb. If he loved blacks he would have helped the citizens of New Orleans just like he helped with the tsunami. He does not have time for black people unless its a black woman he wants to sleep with.

Yes, there will always be racism. But it is at a very small level. We are doing much better at it than most countries.

Of course not, Katrina was proof of that. I think this administration cares little for anyone regardless of color actually.

They care about people with money.

As dubya once said when speaking to a rich fund-raiser crowd: "You folks are my base: The Have's, and the Have-More's." (followed by a chuckle)

Nice.
