i absolutely LOVE the song "can't take it" by the all-american rejects. The violins make the song amazing... does anyone know of any other songs like this one?

There's a song by Yellowcard off the "Spider-Man 2" album called 'Gifts and Curses.' It starts out fast rock, but a violin comes in later to counterpoint. There's also an extensive piano/classical string section in the middle. If that's what you're looking for.

The all time best ever intro is at the top of The Air That I Breathe by The Hollies. The single guitar notes make your hair stand on end, especially if you crank it way, way up.

"Shinobi Vs. Dragon Ninja" by lostprophets has a really sweet intro guitar. its only like 10 sec or so tho but its still cool. its from their first album "The Fake Sound Of Progress" . its a good album too.
