Here is a good place in Fleetwood. They might have horses for sale, as well. A lot of riding places do, they have horses that'll ''retire'' and be sold for personal pets.

i have two 15.3hh bay mares. i got them from the farm where we were riding. try your yellow pages under farms,or even type the same question on the net in the search. make sure you put fleetwood. better still there must be a local feed shop ( sells all pet foods ) usually on the industrial estates. even look up a farrier he will tell you where all the farms are. coz he will go to most of them.
hope this is some help. i hope you get your horse. dont forget the cost its not cheap. with the livery and feed. good luck.

horses aren't like a cat or dog, you need to know alot about them before taking one on so please go to a riding stables to learn properly before considering getting one. How would you be able to tell if your horse was seriously ill without knowing basic things like the signs of good health? Riding is something that takes years to learn to do properly, I've ridden for over 20 years & still have regular training on my horses.
The link below is for the British Horse Society website where if you click on your area of the country then it will come up with the approved riding schools in your area. I would strongly recommend that you go to a BHS approved centre rather than any random riding school as the quality of tuition will usually be far better.

Try doing a websearch on horse back riding in your area. Also here's a site that can help you find a horse
www.petfinder.com
But make sure you have room and can afford the cost of a horse.

Horses are difficult and demanding, please do yourself a favour and take several stable management courses, and riding lessons. Read all of the British Horse Society books on equine care, and keep reading and learning.
Don't go out and buy a horse just yet. Go for riding lessons.
