...brins up Ray Nagin, just because he's liberal. I don't know about you, but THIS liberal thinks Nagin was at fault as well. He's just as awful as Bush, in my book. I mean, "chocolate city"? What a racist windbag.

But that is the difference between us and them. We can admit when one of "our guys" is a loser.

AGREED

Although it is not really any one persons fault, just a breakdown of a poorly concieved "plan". Many factors account for why that was such a disaster from engineering to budgeting to governing to recon.....the list goes on and on

What exactly did President Bush do regarding the handling of the Katrina that was bad? Perhaps that's the point of contention...that Ray Nagin and Gov. Blanco were completely unprepared and unwilling to accept the help that they should have to minimize the problems BEFORE FEMA got there. Hey, I agree that FEMA did a lousy job and they have been a joke for years, but that was not President Bush's fault. I'm glad to see that you can admit when one of "your guys" is a loser. So I'll say that I think Al Gore is right, the earth is getting warmer. And there's nothing wrong with gay marriage. Oh crap, they're gonna take my Bible now.

Nagin shouldnt have said Chocolate City, but he was honest. The gov't is trying to turn New Orleans into a majority white city. Everyone knows this. Nagin was letting the blacks know that they are wanted back home.

I truly find it amazing people want to blame the entire worlds problems on President Busch.
It's not like he caused 9/11.
It's not like he created the hurricane just for Louisianna.
It isn't all his fault FEMA couldn't NOT wouldn't or didn't try
but COULD NOT get through into them any sooner.
Maybe if his name was GOD or MOSES he could have brought a miracle but short of that he did what he could.
It was a shame it happened but that is probably why it is called a NATURAL disaster and not a Busch made disaster.
Gee,the Democrates have done a heck of a job huh?
I seem to recall all Clinton did was Monica for 8 years.
What a guy.

Noooo, Bush didn't put FEMA in total control...no sireee, it must have been one of those stinkin' liberals hiding behind a tree somewhere. Bush also didn't tell all that foreign aid to take a hike...oh wait, he did both. Ok, wake me up when you've found OJ's "real killers" too.

How come every time a non-neocon points out that the Emporer is naked, you got his Brownshirt brigade running out of the woodwork trying to defend dear leader? Oh wait, he didn't get a bj...I'm sorry, forgot what incompetence was.
