We're all travelling into the future at a methodical pace.

My friend from the future says its not possible to travel to the future. He says that he can travel into the past which is why he is here now and that it was really 2014. So I asked is it possible for him to take me with him back to the present and he said that he could. So I said that if that were true, then I would in fact be traveling into the future. He said that it wasn't true and that I would be traveling from the past into the present, but not into the future. So I asked him how he could be so sure. If I didn't know that I was in the past and I thought that now was the present, how did he know he was from the present and not just from a time less distant from the present than I was. He was upset by this idea because he always liked to throw his chronological superiorty in my face and didn't like the idea that there might be someone more current than he was. He went back to the future (or the present, depending on how you see it) so that he could look into it. He hasn't come back yet. I'll let you know what he found out when he does.

I don't think its possible because the past had happened already. And the future hasn't happened. Not counting tomorrow and the next day and the next the thing we can look forward to right now is the present.

Yes, its called you cell phone. If at 4:00 p.m. from California you call me in Arkansas your present and future time is my past time.
Your thoughts and voice and go forward and back. Scientists are still working on the body part.

I would love to go back to 1660s England. If I could cope with all the lice, worms,fleas,bubonic plague and all the rest of the yuk that was around I'd stay there!!

Perhaps it happens all the time and the paradoxes cancel out the existence of one timeline and create another.

No it is not poss able except for astronauts but that is only by a millisecond
