They can, and will play together until Ferguson decides otherwise. We never heard the true story behind the demise of Van Nistleroy but the name "Ronaldo" appeared an awful lot. Gary Neville also had some choice words for his antics during the game. Another young man who thinks he is bigger than the game that has given him so many opportunities. We can only hope that one day they will all grow up.

As a United supporter, I have asked around, and the general feeling is when everyone is back to their teams then Rooney is going to kick Ronaldo's ****. Let Ronaldo go he's a dick but then so is Rooney if he cannot control his temper by now.

Why does Cristiano Ronaldo has to get all the responsability for an act of simple and shameful stupidity practiced by Rooney? Or is this a question of not knowing how to lose from english fans focusing now their hatred vengeance against Cristiano Ronaldo? For example, take your revenge more further by expelling all portuguese citizens living in England including José Mourinho who has done more for your shitty footbal in a few couple of years than most of your english coaches in the past decade!
Many of the answers to this question show the worst side of english fans (or should i say english hooligans...). "Ora Toma Lá!"

Personally I think that Ronaldo should be shot, or Man. Utd. should sack him at the very least. Look what happened to that Korean player who put out Italy in the last world cup. He played for an Italian club up to that point, then in a fit of patriotism they sacked him.
As for Wayne Rooney, he should be castrated to calm him down and make him less of an animal.

I believe there will be a cetrain incompatibility between the two players which might create a little tension resulting in Ronaldo accidentally suffering a major injury during training.

As Ronaldo is a financial asset on the balance sheet of a major money grabbing PLC it would be ManU corporate responsibilty to protect this investment. they only way that is possible is to dispose of the said financial asset to the highest bidder.

I am quite sure that Alex Ferguson will have stern words with both of them & they will be told that they have to put their differences behind them for the good of the club.
If they can't do it then he should not allow them to play.
Anyway, why should it be Ronaldo that would go. Rooney is the one that was too immature to rise above being wound up like that.
