There are cheap hotels on 192 in Kissimmee that will save some money. Get one that has a microwave & fridge in the room so you can save on eating out. Get fruit and breakfast stuff at least.

Food in the parks is expensive too. I've seen families with picnic food in a backpack. There are places to sit and eat outside.

Tell the kids ahead of time that you aren't buying souvenirs inside the parks and no whining or they won't get any. Go to Wal-Mart on 192 which has lots of Disney memorabilia or to one of the 5 t-shirts for $10 places or the flea markets which have a good selection.
The entrance prices are steep, so you may have to sell one of the kids to get in.
Once inside, it's a magical experience.
You can go to Downtown Disney for free, ride on the boat across the lake there.
You can also ride the monorail for free and go into the different Disney hotels which are interesting.

Maybe you should try Six Flags, they're having promotionals around this time. They have coupons on Coke cans or at Burger King where with each coupon, you can admit one person free per paying person. So if its 8 of you and 4 of you have a coupon, the other 4 get in free.

But like all theme parks, the food costs an arm and a leg. But if you bring food, you can have a mini picnic in the parking lot. It always works out well. Have fun.

I just got back from Disney yesterday and you will not be able to go there for cheap. It's at least $50 per person per day unless you go for multiple days, then the daily rate is lower. I took three children (16, 13 and 9) and I spent $800 for tickets for four days, plus about $80 for food and drinks everyday at the park, plus the hotel.

Bush Gardens is expensive too. If you are going to Orlando, just o to the beach. It's about 60+ miles away.

If you don't have money to spare, then Orlando is not the place to be.

Find a cool park and do a fun picnic with cheesy games to play outdoors or go to the beach. Play frisbee, paddle ball, and games like that. If you want to avoid the heat, you could also go to a mall and have a picture scavenger hunt which is free and you can eat fairly cheap at the food court. Good luck!

Yes book your trip 1 season in advance, and set aside a savings account for gas and another for extra expenses.
