walk around the different counters and when you see colors or makeup products that catch your eye, ask for a make over.

Go to the department store and just take a walk by the counters and choose the one that looks most appealing to you.
The companies work to style their areas in a way that reflects the concept behind the line. For example, Clinique's counter has a very clean, fresh look, they emphasize skin care, and their makeup colors tend to be more natural and subdued. MAC has a more fun, urban, edgy look and their concept is the same. Estee Lauder is a bit more sophisticated and intended for a slightly older, classy woman. So whatever counter you're most attracted to will probably be the best place to get the look you're after.

I've had my makeup done at the Clinique counter in Sears before. They did a wonderful job. They made it look natural, but elegant. It was amazing at how good those ladies are! I knew the second I walked in that they had the proper training under their belts and knew just what to say to clients. They were friendly and very nice. They actually treated me like a real person and not just 'client #20" or whatever. I would highly recommend trying out the Clinique counter! :) Good luck sweetie!

Go to a department store. Check out the female makeup salespeople at each brand. Choose the brand for your makeover based on how much you like the makeup job on the salesperson.

If youare very young you might like Clinique or MAC. If a bit older, Chanel or Estee Lauder would be nice. Prescriptives is good, too; as they custom blend foundation and powder for you.
