I cant watch news about kids/babies being killed or murdered,I cant watch movies in which a kid or baby dies,I cant hear anyone telling me anything regarding some kid or baby being abused,If i happen to hear or see something like that i get upset for few days and i would keep on thinking about it.I cant even see anyone hiting the kid in my family,in other words i just you can say freak out and stay upset for few days.Is this normal?
I dont like talking about this to anyone else,so this is the best place i could ask about something which is bothering me from last few yrs.

Yep, this is normal, I feel the same way too. I get very upset, there are times when I can't watch the news, and this is a good thing, don't lose your sensitivity, and don't let anyone tell you you should "get tough" and change it either. Good for you for still being sensitive and having a caring heart!

I appreciate your concern for babies/children. I am 50 y/o and grew up in much different times. I would watch "leave it To Beaver," and other shows that had morals and family values to them. I am shocked how the media, Hollywood, and a lack of Godliness as a whole has desensitized us as a nation, ever searching for sensationalism as well as the exponential growth in violence, rape, murder, sexual molestation towards us all as well as children. The Internet exposes all types of sick minds to any perversion under the sun, again, desensitizing those toward their perversions. Child molestation and rape seem commonplace- statistically, 30% of the abused turn into abusers. Think about the shattered lives of the other 70%, & how many there are. I was molested as a child myself, and through psychotherapy and the help of Jesus, I've been able to get on with my life, but have a hard time trusting others. I could not imagine bringing a child into this world. Is that normal? I strongly suggest that you seek counseling.

It is very normal and I feel the same way when it comes to kids and animals. Its a reaction be being a loving and a careing person. I have on the other hand gotten in fights with people who have abused kids and animals. I speak my mind out on certain topics and these are 2 topics thats I am vert senstive to plus disrespecting parents. Its fine to feel down but dont let it affect your career and of life where it sort of takes over. Its ok to be careing and proctective but if we all band together in the samer thinking and doing, we can actually, belive it or not, we can make a change if not all over the word but at least in the areas we live in.

It's very normal to get upset when you hear or see something bad happening to kids/babies.

I too would get really upset if I witness or hear of bad happening to kids and babies.

It's natural and obviously human to have protective instincts towards babies and kids.

So Chill, there's nothing wrong with you.
