ok nerds I know i have an avatar but wat the hell is it... isn't there a cartoon with the same name or something

In Hindu philosophy, an avatar, avatara or avatarim , most commonly refers to the incarnation (bodily manifestation) of a higher being (deva), or the Supreme Being (God) onto planet Earth. It derives from the Sanskrit word daveed which means "descent" and usually implies a deliberate descent into lower realms of existence for special purposes. the cartoon is avater: the last air bender, but I know nothing of it beyond that.
An avatar is an object, image or being used to represent someone not physically present. One example would be Watari in deathnote, who acts as L's representative.
Avatars are usually used online to show anything from emotion to hobbies and musical taste. they still represent you to someone who can't see you currently.

it a cartoon about an ''avatar'' an air bender not a picture he is the last air bender and has to save the world from the fire nation and has to learn air, water ,earth,and fire bending to defeat the fire lord by the end of the summer.

it is a little picture of something that you can put on websites you are regestered too if they are avaible to chat and stuff to inform who you are and make easier to know who the person is instead of just looking at the name
